Table: every class, every year (text twin)
SWP Table A is the State Water Project’s contract amount for its 29 contractors, from Plumas County to San Diego; two thirds of Table A water serves cities and the rest irrigation. CVP south-of-Delta agriculture and M&I are the Central Valley Project contractors served through the Delta pumps and the Delta-Mendota Canal and San Luis Reservoir; they carry the largest cuts in dry years because they sit last in the project’s priority order. North-of-Delta contractors take from the Sacramento River and its reservoirs before the Delta. Settlement Contractors hold Sacramento River rights senior to the project and receive 100 percent except in critical years, when their contracts set 75 percent. Exchange Contractors traded their San Joaquin River rights for a Delta supply when Friant Dam was built and are cut only in a critical year under their contract. Friant Class 1 and Class 2 are served from Millerton Lake on the San Joaquin, upstream of the Delta; Class 2 is the supplemental supply that arrives only in wetter years. Refuge Level 2 is the base supply to wildlife refuges under the Central Valley Project Improvement Act.

Method. One row per year and class, the final announcement of the season. Initial and mid-season announcements are not in this series. An allocation is a percentage of contract supply, not a delivery. Full rules: definitions .
